BIO:

Kate Hart (b. 1982) is an artist, poet, author and activist. Born and raised in Southern NJ, her interest in art started from a very young age.  She studied Liberal Arts and Literature at Cumberland County College where she excelled and was part of the Honor's Society. She later advanced her studies under her art instructor, Meganne Peck. She went on to Harvard University to study Art History and Literature. She is also a proud mother of four gifted, spirited, and wonderful children. The love and support of her husband, friends, and family are what push her to keep exploring herself and seeking out new creative adventures.

Most of Kate's paintings are acrylic based, bringing both light and dark subject matter to life in an abstract or semi abstract setting. Advancing her use of mixed media, Kate specializes in the unique craft of Rose Petal art.

She draws her artistic inspiration from her raw and organic poetry, as well as the people in her life, past and present, which have touched her deeply to create whimsical, passionate pieces that are bold and edgy. She is a story teller in many forms.

Kate has also expanded her talents and entered the world of jewelry making! All her pieces are hand made and one of kind!

She is also a published author.
